To set up your email account in Outlook 2010:
- Open Microsoft Outlook. If you have no other email accounts set up in 2010, the Start-Up Wizard should appear. If the Start-Up Wizard appears, select “Yes”, and then click Next.
- If the Start-Up Wizard does not appear, go to File à Add Account.
- Check “Manually configure server settings “, and then click Next.
- Check Internet E-mail, and then click Next.
- Enter your name and your e-mail address in the fields provided.
- Select POP3 or IMAP.
- The incoming and outgoing mail servers are both: mail.yourdomainname.com (make sure to enter your individual domain name).
- The username is your entire email address.
- The password is one you chose during the setup of your email.
- Click on “More Settings”.
- Select the checkbox for ‘My Outgoing server (SMTP) Requires Authentication’.
- Click on “Use same settings as my incoming mail server” and then click “OK”.
- Click the test settings button.
- If it completes the test, then your account has been set up successfully.
- Click “Next” and then click “Done”. The setup is now complete.
To set up your email account in Outlook 2007:
- Open Microsoft Outlook.
- Go to tools ? Account Settings
- Select New
- Select Microsoft Exchange, POP3, IMAP, or HTTP, and click “Next”.
- Check “Manually configure server settings”, and Click Next.
- Select Internet E-mail, and Click Next.
- Enter Your Name, and your email address.
- The incoming and outgoing mail servers are both: mail.yourdomainname.com
- The username is your entire email address. The password is one you chose during the setup of your email.
- Click on “More Settings”.
- Select the checkbox for ‘My Outgoing server (SMTP) Requires Authentication’.
- Click on “Use same settings as my incoming mail server” then click “OK”.
- Click the test settings button. If it completes the test you’re good to go.
- Click “Next” and “Done” and the setup is complete.
To set up your email account in Outlook 2003:
- Open Microsoft Outlook.
- Go to tools ? E-mail Accounts.
- Select Add a new e-mail account.
- Select POP3, click “Next”.
- On the Internet E-mail Settings (POP3/IMAP) window, Enter Your Name, and your email address.
- The username is your entire email address. The password is one you chose during the setup of your email.
- The incoming and outgoing mail servers are both: mail.yourdomainname.com
- Click on “More Settings”.
- Select the checkbox for ‘My Outgoing server (SMTP) Requires Authentication’.
- Click on “Use same settings as my incoming mail server” then click “OK”.
- Click the test settings button. If it completes the test you’re good to go.
- Click “Next” and “Done” and the setup is complete.
To set up your email account in Outlook Express:
- Open Microsoft Outlook Express.
- From the Tools ? Accounts.
- Go to the Mail tab and from the Add menu, select Mail.
- In the Display Name field, enter your full name and click Next.
- In the E-mail address field, enter your email address and click Next.
- On the E-mail Server Names page. Select “POP3” from the “My incoming mail server is” drop-down menu.
- The incoming and outgoing mail servers are both: mail.yourdomainname.com
- The username is your entire email address. The password is one you chose during the setup of your email.
- On the setup confirmation page, click Finish.
- On the Mail tab, select the account you just created, and then click Properties.
- Go to the Servers tab.
